I actually agree that the concentration level is much higher when you're drawing alone, which is why I do most of my real work (per se) at home alone. What I'm kind of trying to draw attention to is not really what we bring to the meeting as individuals, but rather what we take home as members of a collective. For me, the idea of being an artist and making comics is only half the fun... the other half comes from being able to mingle, shoot the shit, criticize each other's work (constructively of course), and share ideas.
