It could also be that you're losing fat and developing muscle mass... the key to losing the weight is to develope muscle because it burns off fat more effectively. or it could also mean that you've hit a weight loss plateau. When i started, i was limited to 1500 cal per day and 3 cups of carb but by the 2nd and 3rd month it was taking me longer to lose the weight compared to when i started.
