Conjoined twins Rezzia and Rezzie have been staying in Velez Hospital Nursery room for almost a year now. Their mother is a rape victim, she was just 12 years old then. The babies will turn 9 months old. Hospital bills rate up to P1,000.00/day.

The names of the twins are Rezzia and Rezzie. They are both eight months old conjoined twins (thoraco-omphalopagus twins) who are joined in the chest and abdomen.They are left by their 13 year old mother to the governments care, DSWD, since they were born at the Velez Hospital in Cebu City.Their mother was 12 years old when she was raped by a relative in Mindanao.
The smaller of the twins, Rezzie has a congenital heart defect and hydrocephalus . She required round the clock oxygen and heart medication. A shunt (VPS) insertion is needed, This is a procedure to correct the hydrocephalus condition. It might cost P100,000.00. Any small amount can go a long way in helping the twins.
How will we course the donations? Course it thorugh DSWD (Ms.Leah Colis) or thru the Paypal Donation Button.

How many diapers do these kids use up in a day? 6 each? When Anton was that age… that was how many he used up. Medium na ba ni or small pa gihapon?

VP shunting costs around 250,000.00 mn..cuz my patient before around 200,000.00 to ila na pay n to think sa city hospital to ilaya..i think mas mahal to ila gasto ky twins n naa bya complications ana…i think all we can do is PRAY n support the babies..
i had the opportunity to take care of these babies pag summer and recently pag october… they’re very much pinangga by the staff, interns, residents and student nurses…they’re a really cute bunch and they know how to “close – open” na…

it’s really sad seeing them this way… ;(
i hope they get the help that they deserve…
Is there a plan to separate the babies? I’d love to visit them soon too if I get the chance to go that way…
