Kenya Kaffe Lounge

I love this place.

And I eat here. A lot.

Here’s why:

The main dishes guarantee a full stomach and satisfied taste buds. You should go for their NgoroNgoro Chicken Breast and African Beef Ragout. They also serve really tasty soup that comes with the meal, like Chicken Soup w/ Mushroom. What’s great about it is that you get what you paid for – it’s not the typical restaurant that overprices ridiculously little servings and will make you want to cry.

If you’re looking for some light snack, you could try their sandwiches (I’ve only tried Sazzy Susy’s Pastrami and it’s hella good), the Apple Crabstick Salad or Potato Circles. It’s the type of food you’d want to order when you’re catching up on the latest (gossip) news with your friends. If you’re one of the see-food eaters (Apir, bai!), go for the Potato Circles. If you’re the typical diet-concious type, the Apple Crabstick Salad will do just fine.

As for the drinks, I’m faithful to the ever sweet Choco Wilde. Try it.

The place isn’t exactly big, but it never gets really crowded. You’d be surprised that with little space it doesn’t get too cramped even when things get busy. And for your nicotine pleasure, you could enjoy the veranda.

My cousins and I hang out here a lot. You might catch us there one of these days.

Edited: I forgot to mention that it’s located on the second floor in ‘The Forum’. It’s that commercial building right beside Grand Convention.

pila man sad amo iprepare bai, gud for 2 ra.

ok ba cya for date?

17 Comment by Galadriel — 02/7/07 @ 12:51 am

The ambiance is very conducive to dates. Budget around P300++/person (without dessert), P400++/person (with dessert). Meal served is only good for 1 person, pero pwede mo mag share with the viand. you can just inform the waiter/waitress that you wish to share.
